This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all users of InboxRider. It is part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination.
1. Permitted use
InboxRider is intended for legitimate business communication — managing shared mailboxes, collaborating with teammates, and responding to customers and partners in a professional manner.
2. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the Service to:
- Send spam, bulk unsolicited email, or phishing messages
- Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against others
- Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Impersonate another person or entity without authorization
- Violate CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, or other applicable email and privacy laws
- Collect or harvest email addresses without consent
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
- Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without written permission
- Access accounts or data you are not authorized to access
- Use the Service for illegal activity or to promote illegal goods or services
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our agreement
- Use automated means to scrape or overload the Service beyond normal API use
3. Email & content standards
When sending email through InboxRider you must:
- Only message recipients who have a reasonable expectation of contact or valid consent
- Include accurate sender information and a working way to opt out where required
- Honor unsubscribe and do-not-contact requests promptly
- Not use misleading subject lines or deceptive content
4. Mailbox connections
You may only connect mailboxes you own or are authorized to manage. Do not connect personal accounts of others without their knowledge and consent.
5. AI features
Do not use AI-generated content to deceive recipients, generate illegal content, or automate high-volume outbound campaigns without human review and compliance with applicable law.
6. Reporting abuse
To report abuse, email abuse@inboxrider.com with relevant details (URLs, message IDs, timestamps). We investigate reports and may cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, remove content, throttle sending, suspend accounts, or terminate access without prior notice when necessary to protect users, recipients, or the Service. We are not obligated to monitor all activity but reserve the right to do so.
8. Changes
We may update this AUP. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
