Account & workspace data
When you sign up or are invited to a workspace, we collect information such as your name, email address, job title, company name, password (stored hashed), and workspace settings.
Email & mailbox data
When you connect a mailbox (e.g. via Gmail OAuth or IMAP/SMTP), we process email content and metadata needed to provide the Service — including senders, recipients, subjects, message bodies, attachments, thread IDs, and delivery status. This data is stored to power your shared inbox, assignments, search, and related features.
Usage & device data
We collect log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, feature usage, timestamps, and error reports to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Payment data
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by our payment provider (e.g. Stripe). We receive billing contact details and subscription status — not your full card number.
Support communications
If you contact us, we keep the content of your messages and any information you choose to provide.
3. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate users and secure accounts
- Sync, display, assign, and send email on your behalf
- Generate AI summaries and draft suggestions when you use those features
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Send service-related notices (e.g. security alerts, billing receipts)
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
We do not sell your personal information.

We retain account and mailbox data while your workspace is active and for a reasonable period afterward to allow export or recovery, unless you request deletion sooner or we must retain data for legal reasons. You may delete conversations and disconnect channels from within the app.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit, encrypted credential storage, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong password and enable available security controls.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise rights, email privacy@inboxrider.com. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice.
